Required Play Console step

You still need to add this website URL in the Google Play listing under Developer website. Once that is done, Google can crawl the landing page and the root app-ads.txt file.

If you publish the app on a custom domain instead of the Firebase site, the same domain must host /app-ads.txt at the root and must match the Developer website URL in Google Play exactly.
